Terms and Conditions
이용약관 – 꼭 알아야 할 기타사항
Postpartum caregivers, babysitters (nannies), housekeeping helpers, and caregivers are all referred to as "caregivers".
- After reviewing the sent contract, fill out and submit the service application form (reservation form) on our website. The contract is established once the reservation fee is deposited into the company's account. The transfer of the reservation fee is equivalent to agreeing to the contract terms.
- You cannot request tasks not decided upon at the time of the contract or unrelated tasks (e.g., picking up other family members, guest meal service, making kimchi, large amounts of ironing, washing bedding, cleaning the entire house).
- Basic service recipients include the mother, husband, and newborn for postpartum care, the respective child for babysitting (nanny) services, and the recipient (patient) for caregiver services. Additional charges may apply daily for other cohabiting family members.
- You must inform the company about the presence or planned installation of cameras in the house.
- For any changes related to work (e.g., change in working hours or days, change in job content, change of caregiver) after the start of work, please contact and discuss with the company.
- Caregivers' rest time includes 3 hours for live-in caregivers and 1 hour for commuting caregivers (excluding night sleep, rest, sleep, jogging).
- Additional services are mandatory. If applicable, you must check this on the contract. Any adjustments or changes can be discussed and agreed upon with both the Mom Helper USA representative and the caregiver.
Postpartum Care Additional Information
- If the mother wishes to extend or shorten the service period or replace the postpartum caregiver, she must consult with the company first.
- Early Termination: If you wish to shorten the service period, please contact and discuss with the company. If the service is shortened after commencement, the remaining reservation fee (contract fee) will not be refunded. The caregiver must be informed at least 7 days in advance to avoid disrupting their schedule and plans.
- Service Extension: If you wish to extend the postpartum care service, please inform the company at least 50% before the service ends.
- The primary duty of the postpartum caregiver is to care for the mother and newborn. As a postpartum helper, the caregiver provides some housekeeping services. (Tasks not directly related to postpartum care, such as cleaning the entire house, doing laundry for the family, washing bedding, large amounts of ironing, making kimchi, guest meal service, and preparing packed lunches, are not supported.)
- Additional charges may apply if you request tasks unrelated to postpartum care, such as preparing side dishes or laundry for other family members.
- Services may change or be omitted based on the health status of the mother and newborn.
- If the baby's father is on a business trip, the caregiver may help with simple tasks like taking the older child to and from kindergarten, bathing them, and organizing toys, in consultation with the mother, and additional charges may apply depending on the situation.
Additional Information about Babysitter and Nanny
Inform the company and the dispatched caregiver about your child's usual habits, playtime, feeding amount, feeding times, weaning food and snack times, bathing, personality, stranger anxiety, medical history, and emergency contact information.
Additional Information about Babysitter and Caregiver
You cannot request tasks unrelated to the agreed duties at the time of contract (e.g., picking up other family members, doing laundry for other family members, guest meal service, making kimchi, cleaning the entire house).
- Inform the company and caregiver in advance about important information such as the guardian's contact information, children's or recipient's (care patient) hospital check-up schedule, allergies (food, medicine, etc.), and other crucial details.
- For any changes related to work (e.g., change in working hours or days, change in job content) after the start of work, please contact and discuss with the company.
