Postpartum Care
Maternal Care
- Support for successful breastfeeding
- Breast massage to relieve engorgement
- Support for postpartum healing (sitz baths for pain relief and wound healing)
- Massage or postpartum exercise support, emotional support
- Hygiene management, nutrition management, meal preparation, and kitchen cleanliness
Newborn Care
- Management of the newborn's room and items
- Recording and managing newborn activities (diapers, feeding status)
- Managing feeding and sleeping cycles, providing advice
- Newborn bathing, umbilical cord care, massages, and changing clothes
- Sterilizing bottles, managing breast pumps
- Accompanying mother and baby on outings and providing light household help if needed
Family Care / Housekeeping Services
The primary duty of the caregiver is to take care of the mother and newborn. They also look after the older child when the baby's father is on a business trip.
- Examples are dropping off and picking up from kindergarten (not including driving), preparing meals and snacks, washing hands and face, tidying toys, etc.
- Adjustments to tasks can be made depending on the situation
As a postpartum helper, the caregiver provides only a limited portion of housekeeping services.
- Services may change or be omitted based on the health status of the mother and newborn.
- The caregiver does not support household tasks that are not directly related to postpartum care, such as preparing side dishes for other family members, cleaning the entire house, doing laundry for the family, washing bedding, ironing large amounts of clothes, making kimchi, entertaining guests, or preparing packed lunches.
- Additional charges may apply if household tasks not directly related to postpartum care are requested.
Basic Service Recipients
The basic service recipients include the mother, father, and newborn. Additional daily charges apply for extra family members not included in the basic service.

Service Reservation
Use the online reservation form and pay a deposit to confirm the booking.
- After consulting with the director, you can contract postpartum care services tailored to your needs.
- The deposit is not included in the service fee.
- The service fee should be paid directly to the postpartum caregiver.
- For out-of-state services, the client must cover the cost of round-trip airfare.
- Although Mom Helper USA will schedule the service with ample time, please reconfirm the schedule when making a reservation.

Service Fees
The company operates with the deposit, which is not included in the service fee. Please, pay the service fees directly to the caregiver weekly (every 5 days).
The basic family includes the mother, the father, and the newborn; additional charges may apply for other family members.
Basic fees may vary depending on the region and circumstances.
Service Extensions and Changes
Contact Mom Helper USA at least halfway through the service period for extensions or changes to allow for rescheduling.
Public Holidays
As a general rule, we observe holidays, but adjustments can be made at the discretion of the mother and caregiver. The service period is automatically extended by the number of holidays, and no additional fees are incurred for services provided on holidays.
- Caregivers work 5 days a week, with Saturday and Sunday off unless otherwise agreed.
- Holiday work can be negotiated, and if taken off, the service period is extended automatically.
- For long-distance or out-of-state services, caregivers work continuously without breaks (e.g., 20 consecutive days for a 4-week period).
Additional Information
- Tasks unrelated to the agreed-upon duties or baby care (e.g., picking up other family members, entertaining guests, making kimchi, major cleaning) cannot be requested.
- Inform the company of guardian contact information, children's medical check-up schedules, allergies (food, medication), and other important details in advance.
- If any changes to work-related conditions occur after starting (e.g., changes in working hours, additional workdays, changes in duties), contact and discuss with the company.
- Notify the company if cameras are installed or if there are plans to install them.
